HS Italia Centrale fund, established in 2011 with a duration of 27 years, is a closed-end real estate fund reserved to qualified investors. The fund is invested by local banking foundations (namely, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno and Fondazione Tercas) the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno and by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti through its fund FIA - Fondo Investimenti per l’Abitare.
The primary aim of the Fund is to respond to the housing shortage existing in the reference area by increasing the supply of social housing, as outlined in Ministerial Decree 22 April 2008 and in the National Housing Plan foreseen by the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 16 July 2009, combining social purposes with economic returns for institutional investors interested predominately in achieving ethical goals.
In particular the Fund invest in central Italian regions where its unitholders actively operate promoting and sustaining the local economy.
The Fund’s portfolio consists of two residential complexes, both located in the municipality of Ascoli Piceno, contributed to the Fund in July 2012.
